Rates for Mirror Word Safari 2018

 

Standard Safari: R48 800 pp

Discounts for groups, families, and couples: 10% discount for the 2nd person and 8% for each person thereafter.

 

The safari prices include all accommodation, transport, safari game drives, several catered meals with drinks, and all breakfasts. Also included are the domestic flights from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit and Hoedspruit to Cape Town.

Extra costs to please take a note of:

It is expected to leave a tip for the staff at the game lodges, as well as the other places we will be staying. There are also entrance fees at the various lookouts and nature reserves. These tips and entrance fees add up to R1 400, which you can pay on your own or, if you prefer, into the safari account and we will take care of it for you.  This way you will not have to carry extra money around, and it also simplifies the transactions for us.

 

A light meal at a restaurant costs on average between R70-R120, dinners, R150 to R250, depending on venue and appetite :)

There are curio-selling places with handcraft, where they only accept South African Rand in cash. Since there are no ATM's at either Blyde or in the game reserve, you will have to draw cash at the airport. Cape Town and Hermanus have ample banks and ATM’s.
